Exploring Our Town's History

For our Community-Based Research, our group explored historical places to learn more about our town’s history. Here are some highlights of our journey:

We started by meeting as a group to discuss our research and plan our next steps.

We visited a museum in Vigan and learned about President Elpidio Quirino’s life and legacy.

The museum also showed us Quirino’s early life in Caoayan and how his roots shaped him.

In our town, we found a statue of Don Dimas Querubin y Llanes, an important historical figure.

Another statue we found had a description about his contributions to Caoayan’s history.

Through this experience, we gained a wider perspective of our town’s past and its notable figures. It was a meaningful discovery that made us appreciate our history even more.
