A Star in the Making

On the day I was born, September 19, 2009, it was as if a new star had appeared in the sky, twinkling brightly as I opened my eyes for the first time. That star was me, Jeyla Erycar Tabudlo, the youngest in my family. Now, as a 14-year-old in my fourth year of high school, I’m looking forward to turning 15 this coming September. Growing up in the Municipality of Caoayan, particularly in Barangay Fuerte, I’ve learned that like a star, I must shine through the challenges and opportunities that shape my journey.

From a young age, I’ve always been dedicated to everything I do, especially my studies. For me, education is the best way to show gratitude to my parents for their endless support and sacrifices. They often tell me that my eyes gleam like stars in the night sky, reflecting the endless possibilities that lie ahead, waiting for me to reach them.

I face every opportunity with courage and determination, knowing that each step brings me closer to my dream of becoming a member of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA). Though the path is long, I am determined to make it. For my loved ones, and for that special person who inspires me every day, I promise to work hard and ensure our future shines just as brightly as the stars that have guided me this far.
